The centre maintains Good Manufacturing Practices in Phlebotomy, Serological Blood Processing, Donor Selection and Screening, and Blood Component Preparation with state-of-the-art machinery and technology. The Drugs and Cosmetic Act, Regulatory Authority, Director Drugs Controller (India), and NABH all mandate strict adherence to quality control procedures and standards. The Blood Centre is now working to obtain licenses for apheresis, cryoprecipitate, and leucodepleted red blood cells. The main objective is to guarantee a timely, safe, and sufficient supply of blood and its components. We strongly encourage voluntary blood donation, which helps the community receive safe, risk-free transfusions.
